I am an excited girlfriend getting glammed up for a night out with her man.

I am a mum cooking cupcakes with her daughter.

I am a manager balancing budgets.

I am a daughter getting a lift from her mum.

I am a friend gossiping on the phone.

I am a girl browsing the sale items in Top Shop.

Don't you know who I am?

    I like this post a lot. These are the issues I'm often wrestling with on my blog, except in a much less concise way! I guess the reason people haven't commented is that it's hard to tell whether your happy or sad with all these different roles. Often I'm both - I find it hard not knowing what I'm 'supposed to' be, and difficult to decide what I want. But also, there's a lot of opportunity to enjoy different things and be a whole, interesting person.

    I guess thats what I wanted to say.

    We cover so many roles, I love them all but its tough balancing them together and not letting one take more of your time than others.

    I'm always nervous about creative writing, much more confident about ranting rubbish! x
